Survivors, I feel your pain.  

On September 21, 2016 my husband and I lost our home to a flood.  Our dogs were home at the time and we were not.  Thankfully, my husband was able to enter the house through a second story window and save them before it was too late.  We are still in the process of rebuilding, and navigating a governmental buyout of our property while starting two businesses from the ground up.
